Detailing FAQ
How long does a detail take?+
An Essentials detail runs one to two hours. Interior or Exterior takes about an hour and a half to two, the Plus versions two to three, and a Premium detail takes three to five depending on the size and condition of the vehicle.
Do I need to be home during the service?+
Not necessarily. We just need access to the vehicle and a safe place to work. Many clients leave keys and go about their day, we confirm the details when we book.
Do you need water and power from me?+
We arrive self-contained with our own water and power. If you would rather we tap into an outdoor spigot or outlet we can, but it is never required.
Which package should I pick?+
If the car is generally maintained, Essentials keeps it sharp. If the inside has taken a beating, go Interior, or Interior+ to steam-clean and condition the surfaces. If the outside needs the work, go Exterior, or Exterior+ if the paint feels rough, since it adds clay and iron removal. Premium is everything in Interior+ and Exterior+ with a 6-month ceramic wax.
Can I add extras to any package?+
Most add-ons pair with your package, but not all: interior extras aren't offered on an exterior-only detail, and vice versa. The Add-Ons page has a full compatibility chart. Pet hair, odor treatment, headlight restoration and engine bay are the most requested.
